MARA website -- Vice Minister Zhang Taolin and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation co-chaired the sixth meeting (video conference) of the Subcommittee on Agricultural Cooperation Under the Committee of China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting on September 11. The two sides exchanged in-depth opinions on issues of common concern, reached broad consensus, and achieved positive results.
Vice Minister Zhang spoke highly of the agricultural cooperation achievements between the two countries in recent years, and expressed willingness to further strengthen the mechanism of agricultural cooperation and step up cooperation in agricultural trade, agro-product mutual access and animal and plant inspection and quarantine, agricultural trade logistical infrastructure, and agricultural investment and border area cooperation, in a bid to deepen China-Russia agricultural cooperation and push it forward in a more practical way.
Deputy Minister Levin said Russia attaches great importance to agricultural cooperation with China. Russia is ready to work with China to raise the bilateral agricultural cooperation to a higher level, and increasingly push forward the cooperation between the two countries.
